Including the time it takes to prepare the requirements specification document, it is estimated the tender process could take up to a year. This includes advertising in the European Journal, reviewing responses from suppliers, site visits and contract negotiation. Although it is a long process, selection of the software which best meets the University’s requirements is critical to the success of the project.
