How long does the Tecsem composting process take?
A number of factors are important in controlling the composting process and the time that the process takes. These factors include temperature, moisture, oxygen, particle size, the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio of the waste and the degree of movement involved. In general, the more actively regulated these factors are controled, the faster the process is. Typically, the Tecsem compost is ready for agricultural use and sales after an 8 week period.
