How long does the self-study process take to complete?
The self-study process is self-paced. Generally, it takes one year to complete the entire process and to become accredited. There are many variables that can either shorten or lenthen this time frame, including: 1) how quickly you get started and whether you and your staff are able to work through the process without interruptions, 2) how closely you already meet the NECPA Standards, and 3) how much turnover you have in staff.
