How long does the process take to obtain a License/Trademark?
I’m not sure what you mean by a “license/trademark.” A license and a trademark are two entirely different things. A license is essentially a contract between two parties. When two parties agree to the use of a certain thing, then a license can be signed. A trademark is obtained through bona fide use in commerce. Upon obtaining your trademark through use in commerce, you can file an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office to register your trademark. It is difficult to predict exactly how long it will take an application to mature into a registration because there are so many factors that can affect the process. The total time for an application to be processed may be anywhere from almost a year to several years, depending on the basis for filing and the legal issues which may arise in the examination of the application.
