How long does the process take? How long is a program’s accreditation good for?

0

Once a college or university’s business programs have been accepted into candidacy, it has up to five years to become accredited. The process typically takes between 2 and 4 years. When the IACBE Board of Commissioners grants accreditation, it is for a period of up to 7 years. At that time, the program develops a new self-study, has a new site visit, and is reviewed for reaffirmation of accreditation by the Commissioners.
