How long does the on-site survey last?
The length of your survey will depend on the number of home care services you provided, your patient volume (average daily census) for each service, the number of your sites and their distance from the main site. On average, most home care surveys are 2 days in length. Deemed status surveys for home health and/or hospice organizations are typically 3 days in length.
