How long does the CFG0 course last?
The Interdisciplinary Science Foundation Programme (CFG0) is an extended science degree programme with an integral foundation year. More information about CFG0 and the list of linked degree courses. For most of our students this is a 4 year course but for those students who progress to medicine it would be a 6 year course. The first year is a foundation year and it is mostly based at Park Lane College of Further Education. After the foundation year, provided they meet the progression entry requirements, our students progress onto the first year of their chosen degree course. Please note that, even if a student from this course has successfully met the academic requirements for progression to medicine, there is no guarantee of an offer of a place to study medicine.
