How long does the application process take?
The college admission department takes two business days after receiving all the documents to process your application. However it depends on the completeness and accuracy of your application forms and whether you have submitted all the requested documents and fees. The Student permit process at the Canadian Embassy may vary between 3 weeks to 6 weeks depending on the country you are applying from and if you require a medical examination. Therefore ensure that your Application for student authorization is complete and accurate and that you have submitted all requested documents along with your application.
A. This will vary depending on the plan you select, however on average you usually will hear back within two to three weeks. The process could take longer sometimes, if additional information and/or medical records are requested. Be very detailed on your application form this will help the process. You may want to take out a short-term policy for 30 days.
