There is no simple answer to this question. In some cases our suppliers have been able to complete matters in less than eight weeks, in others it takes several years. If it takes a long time, this is not always the fault of the professional, as it is sometimes necessary to collect very precise information from a large number of people and organisations before things can be finalised. However there is no doubt that sometimes probate providers take longer than they need to and that when they charge an hourly rate, there is no real incentive to complete things quickly.
