How long does Juvederm typically last?
A. Juvederm is an FDA approved hyaluronic acid. It is approved to last up to 1 year. In my experience, it seems to last about 8 months the first time one uses it, but if you repeat it before it’s completely gone, it will often last up to a year. It is soft and very natural in appearance and has a high patient satisfaction rate. Areas with more movement ie. the lips tend to last less (5-6 months) than areas on the face that have less muscular movement (6-12months). The skill of the injector definitely affects longevity.
