How long does it usually take to build up a solid clientele?

If you start work at a Nail Salon, you may be able to build up a clientele quite easily and quickly, especially if the salon puts on some specials on Acrylic Nails etc to bring you new clients. If you are starting from home, you will probably be relying on friends for referrals. This will take about 6 months to build up a good clientele. You must make sure that you do an exceptional job on all of your clients because ultimately it will be the referrals that keep you busy. Advertising can be helpful to get people to know where and who you are but be careful the costs dont add up to something you cannot afford!
