How long does it usually take for an audit rebate to be issued?
Once the energy audit is complete, your energy auditor will forward your file to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) within four weeks (or more, depending on your auditor). NRCan then forwards the file to the province within two weeks. Once Ontario receives your file, the ministry will process your audit rebate within three to four weeks. The whole process generally takes between 2-4 months.
