How long does it usually take for an antibiotic to work?
it will usually work if taken for the amount of time the Dr has prescribed it to be taken for…..feeling better does not mean that all of the bacteria has been eliminated, you must continue taking the full course for it to be effective or you will more than likely become sick with the same bacteria again and not completing an antibiotic course can lead to the remaining bacteria becoming resistant to medications.
