How long does it take TWDB to approve a management plan?
The TWDB is required by statute to make its determination on a management plan within 60 days of receiving all elements of a plan. The TWDB will notify the district in writing of its decision within five days of making its determination (Chapter 36.1072(b), Texas Water Code, relating to Texas Water Development Board Review and Approval of Management Plan).
