How long does it take to work the Manna Program?
The Manna Program is not a quick-fix program. It takes as long as it takes. We with an eating disorder have developed destructive patterns in our life. Manna teaches that having an eating disorder is like rowing along in a rowboat. Life is going okay, when all of a sudden the boat comes to a jerking halt. Looking, we see the boat has a long rope tied to the dock. That rope is the issue from our past. No matter how hard we row, we will never get past the length of the rope. The Manna From Heaven program shows us how to row back to the dock (not to stay there), just long enough to let God untie the rope so we can get on with our lives.
