How long does it take to stamp concrete?
Stamping concrete is a very strict art. There are a lot of companies that try to stamp yards and yards of concrete in a single day. This may be appropriate for them, but our stamping process doesn’t allow us to stamp more than a few yards per day for quality purposes. Harmon Concrete would rather pour several times in order to make sure you’re getting the quality you’re paying for. If you have more than 500 square feet of concrete to stamp, you can rest assured that it won’t be poured in a single day. Once the concrete is ready to be poured, the process for stamping is as follows: • Pour as usual, place and finish. • When the concrete is ready, the stamping is done. • When the concrete has hardened (Usually the next day), the excess powder is rinsed off. • When the concrete is dry (Usually in a few hours), sealer is applied.
