How long does it take to remove odors?
New odors from cooking, painting, or other source will usually disappear within 1 to 48 hours. However, long term odors that have existed for years might take days or weeks to be removed. It is important to have the correct size machine for the right size home and application. The 300 (AFmini), 1000 (AF1000), 3000 (AF3000), and 4000 sq. ft. (AF4000) rating is based on a home without any heavy contamination such as cigarette smokers, multiple pets, or drastic source of odors. In the cases of high contamination load, we recommend buying the more powerful unit based on your living area or use the more powerful HVAC installed units CAP3000, CAP5000, or the CAP7000.
