How long does it take to recover money for an accident victim?
A good or perhaps the best answer is: “as long as necessary.” Rarely is a quick settlement the best one. I am fortunate to have a wide perspective for evaluating claims, as I’ve been on all three sides of claims: as the claims director for an insurance company, as the lawyer hired by the insurance company to defend claims in court and mostly as the accident victim’s attorney. I know the value of being patient and thorough.
