Laproscopic surgery only requires a few days to get back to normal. It’s less invasive than regular surgery. My mother in law had gall bladder surgery and was up & walking around the same day; she’s 75. You won’t be able to lift anything heavy for a couple of days, but you’ll probably be able to go back to work in about two weeks (but it depends on how physical your job is).
