How long does it take to recover from carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel surgery?

I just had surgery for carpal and cubital tunnel at the same time, on my left arm, almost three weeks ago. I am still in a lot of pain. I have limited range of motion in my arm. It hurts to bend my fingers and my hand is very weak. The top knuckles of my pinky and ring finger will not bend without assistance from my other hand. My fingers are swollen an I have bruises that are finally fading, all over my hand and wrist. The worst pain seems to be sensitive skin and burning along the side of my arm, from my wrist almost to my elbow. There is of course, significant pain along th.e incisions in my hand, wrist, and elbow. There is a small portion of my arm that doesn’t hurt. Is this much pain after almost three weeks normal? When can I expect it to stop?
