How long does it take to receive a project number in the Oracle Financial system?
Once a sponsored project award agreement has been signed off by the Office of Research and all appropriate paperwork has been accumulated and forwarded to Research/Cost Accounting, a project number will be assigned within 72 hours or less. A copy of the activation report (RPAR105) will be mailed to the designated person at the department the day after the activation occurs. If a department needs immediate information on a project number arrangements can be made through the department ’s Research Accountant.
