How long does it take to process an application for an encroachment agreement?
Processing time varies depending on the nature and complexity of the encroachment, but generally applications are reviewed and a decision on whether to enter into an Encroachment Agreement or not, is made within three weeks of receiving a complete application. Additional time is then required to prepare the agreement, getting it signed by the relevant parties and submitting it to the Land Titles Office for registration.
