How long does it take to prepare an escrow geologic report ?
In general, the geologic report can be prepared within 5 to 10 days of authorization. The time to complete the report is generally a function of current backlog, complexity of the site and time required to obtain research documents at the Department of Building and Safety. It is highly recommended that the geologic contingency period not be allowed to expire prior to receipt and review of the written geologic report. Obtaining an extension to the contingency period is recommended if a greater amount of time is required to complete the report.
