How long does it take to go round London Zoo?
4 hours is not enough in my opinion. You won’t need to spend the entire day there, but 4 hours is probably pushing it a bit. I would suggest maybe 5 – 6 tops. After all, it’s quite big and theres a lot to see; especially if your taking small children, then you’ll want to take a little more time seeing all the exhibits. Take into consideration seeing the animals, walking between the exhibits, food stops (lunch for example), the kids wanting to go to the playground etc. The time really does add up. If your thinking of doing other things, I would suggesting going to the Zoo early in the morning; maybe 10am, when it opens. At least then, if you decide that actually you can’t stand 6 hours of walking round a Zoo, you could then go off and do something else. Madame Tussauds is about an hour tops. London Eye is about 45 minutes (incl. queueing time). The key is, start early. Then you’ll be able to fit in what you want to do.
