A trip from the Sydney CBD to the door of your chalet takes on average around 5 hours depending on traffic, stops etc. Once on the M5 there are only a few sets of traffic lights to Thredbo. From Melbourne it takes about 5.5 hours. Canberra is only a 2.5 hour drive. Cooma is approx a one hour and 10 minute drive.
