How long does it take to get to Denali National Park from Anchorage or Fairbanks?
It is about 250 miles from Anchorage and in good weather and without traffic delays will take 4-5 hours. Summer traffic can be particularly heavy so giving yourself 6 hours will allow you to make bathroom and food stops and ensure you have enough time to get to your campground or bus. It is about 120 miles from Fairbanks to Denali and the drive takes about 2 – 2 ½ hours again depending on the weather and traffic.
