How long does it take to get through customs at Heathrow Airport?
It is not going to work. The landing time is landing time and that is iffy in itself. There may also be delays until the plane actually parks. When it does there is the whole everybody getting off thing. Then customs. Sometimes it is only 20 minutes…… but you need to plan on an hour if not a UK citizen. Heathrow is a very large airport and somewhat convoluted. You will need to get to the baggage area. Then you will have to hope that the bags are being offloaded on time. You will still need to stand there and wait for them to come by. Then you will have to run willy nilly to the tube and the train. Both of these are often not on time. Your plan has little chance for success. You will not make the train! Consider arranging a taxi to meet you at the terminal. Even then it might be a bit tight and at that time of day traffic can be horrible. But it might work. But 6:15 is pushing it.
