It is about right in terms of the length of time. It is not as quick as we see it on CSI type shows. It can take time because of the decomposition of the body, the lab that is doing the processing in terms of their workload. It takes time to culture and then possibly make a comparison with family or against any known sample the girl might have had. The only thing I have seen has been the labs in Canada were not that swift but then I am basing that on how long it took to find that murdering rapist Paul Bernardo/Karla Holmoka couple and they had had DNA from him. It took 3 years. Hopefully it won’t take that long.
