How long does it take to get preg, with the ovulation induction treatment?

Which specific ovulation induction treatment are you referring to?? There are several different fertility drugs used to induce ovulation. Clomid is the most commonly prescribed (often prescribed along with Metformin in women diagnosed with PCOS). There are also series of injections that are more powerful. It really depends on the person. Clomid works really fast for some women, but some women are resistant to Clomid and it doesn’t make them ovulate. The next step is the injections, which are very costly and can easily overstimulate your ovaries if you are not monitored very carefully by an experienced fertility specialist (reproductive endocrinologist). Usually, a doctor will start you out on 50mg Clomid days 3-7 or 5-9 of your cycle. If that doesn’t cause ovulation, they’ll usually raise it up to 100mg or then to 150mg until it works. Usually, they won’t go above 150mg. If 150mg doesn’t do the trick, injections would be added. Hang in there!
