On the Stansted Express, it takes about 35 mins to Tottenham Hale station, North London (where you can pick up the Victoria Line and head into the West End) or 45 minutes to London Liverpool Street, in the heart of the city. The bus will take much longer and will terminate at Victoria, though I think can be cheaper. Hope this helps!
They advertise the train journey from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street Station as taking an average of 45 minutes (less if you get out at Tottenham Hale). To get into central London you need to change to the Underground & it depends on where you’re going how much time it takes, it’s usually 3 – 4 minutes between stops.
