The Dept. of Ed randmonly chooses students for verification. It can take up to a week or a few months before you verification status is cleared. The financial aid officer is double checking the answers you supplied with taxes you submitted. As long as everything was entered correctly or there are no HUGE corrections that need to be made it really shouldn’t take that long for you to clear.
