How long does it take to get an FA CRB Disclosure?
On average this takes 6-8 weeks but some can take longer. If the form is properly completed, identity properly checked and payment made, the form will go to the CRB in Liverpool within 48 hours of processing at The FA CRB Unit. If there are mistakes or there is information missing, the applicant or Club Welfare Officer will be contacted and asked to provide whatever is missing. It is up to the applicant whether they do this quickly and speed up the process or take their time and slow it down. If this information is not provided after 35 days, the application may be archived. This means that the applicant will need to complete a new application if they still wish to be involved. The CRB in Liverpool aims to issue 90 per cent of Enhanced Disclosures within 35 days of receiving a properly completed and checked application.
