How long does it take to get a Masters degree in the MFT program?
With full-time study all course work can be completed in two calendar years. Because the master’s degree also requires students to receive 500 direct client contact clinical hours and a thesis or clinical project, it usually takes three years to complete the entire program. Master’s students who attend part time may take 4-5 years to complete the program. Requirements must be completed in 7 years.
