It will take considerably longer than would be indicated by 2700/80, because charging is not 100% efficient. (As, of course, nothing is.) You know how the battery gets warm while it’s charging? That’s some of your 80mA being lost to heat – wasted. I would estimate at least 40 hours. btw, I hope this is a real NiMH charger. You can’t safely trickle-charge NiMH cells without temperature monitoring, etc. Well, you can, but you’ll quickly ruin the cells.
