How long does it take to earn a Bachelor of Music Therapy Degree?
The academic coursework is 124 semester hours which typically is achieved in 8 semesters. A full-time internship under the supervision of a board-certified music therapist is required after the academic coursework is completed. This clinical training is 1040 hours and can be completed in 6 months. At the completion of this training, the student is eligible for graduation.
