How long does it take to download an audiobook or eBook?
It depends on the speed of your internet connection, the length of the book and the format that the book is in. For example, a six hour audiobook in MP3 format is about 90MB. If you have a 2Mb/sec broadband connection, that should take you just over six minutes to download. eBooks are much quicker because in terms of file size they are much smaller. A 100,000 word novel (that would take 11 hours or 160 MB as an audiobook) might be about 1MB as an eBook. That might take four or five seconds to download. Bear in mind that these are just minimum times at maximum speeds under optimal conditions. In practice, line conditions may vary according to your service provider and other factors. This in term will affect download times.
