How long does it take to develop a new GED test series?
GED Testing Service held the first test specifications committee meeting in 2006 and test item tryouts began in 2007. The test development process is ongoing and will actually continue for several years beyond the initial launch of the 2012 Series as additional operational test forms and Official Practice Test forms are prepared.
