It generally takes three years to complete 90 semester hours. However, some schools (such as Greenville Technical College, see #9, below) have accelerated programs so that it is possible to complete prerequisites in a shorter amount of time. It takes three years and three months to complete the DC program. We start classes four times a year, in January, April, July and October. You study at Sherman College for 14 quarters, and the last quarter may be spent externing with a field chiropractor.
