How long does it take to apply for and receive NACEP accreditation?

Programs start preparing for accreditation one to two years in advance of submitting an application. Once an application has been received the review takes approximately 12 months to complete. NOTE: The Accreditation Committee reserves the right to assign a program to another review cycle if more than 20 electronic Intent to Apply forms are received by the deadline.
