How long does it take to administer the test? Is the test timed?
Technical Manual (p. 6): The GRADE is not a timed test because it is meant to be a test of power, not speed. Older students can do the test in one hour-long session with most students completing it in about 45 minutes. When administering the GRADE to very young children, multiple, short sessions allowing for breaks are recommended. Testing in this manner, the GRADE can take 60 to 90 minutes to complete, depending on the teachers pacing of instructions and the maturity and responsiveness of the students.
