How long does it take the vet to geld a horse?
My horse was gelded at nine with chiltern equine and they kept him in over night because he was older but i dropped him in at 9am and i got a phonecall at 12pm saying he was done and recovering and that he could be picked up the next day at 8am and as soon as he was home he had to have 20mins excercise twice a day and belive me its very important as my friend didnt excercise and her horses shief swelled really bad and put him in alot of pain. Colts can be gelded on the yard and it takes 30mins-hour max considering their behaviour.
