How long does it take the Outback S-Lite to attain a usable signal?
It normally takes 1-3 minutes. The GPS signal will be acquired first displaying a yellow light. DGPS correction will then be acquired which illuminates a green light. For e-Dif, it takes 10 minutes to generate corrections. The vehicle can be in motion during this process, but will not be accurate until signals are acquired. If the Outback S-Lite seems to take longer than 1-3 minutes to attain a usable signal, the memory of the console may need to be deleted.
