How long does it take mebendazole to kill threadworms?

For threadworms take 100 mg as a single dose, repeat in 2-3 weeks later since some eggs may have survived. Overdosing is possible with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain; so don’t think it’ll help if you take another tablet in 3 days. And yes it may take a couple of days to kill them depending on how susceptible they are to the medication. There isn’t much you can do to get rid of them faster, but you can ask your doctors about an enema. An enema is an uncomfortable procedure (haha) but it can help flush the pinworms out if you really want to get rid of them that badly, but it wont make a huge difference. My advice, take the 2nd dose after 2-3 weeks & just ride it out. Good luck.
