How long does it take iLoad™ to transfer a CD and DVD to an iPod®?
It takes about 8 minutes depending upon condition of the CD and length of the CD. iLoad™ typically transfers at greater than 5 times “real time”. In other words: Usually 1/5 of the actual playing time. Cleanliness of the CD or scratches affect the transfer time. Clean CDs take less time than scratched or dirty CDs. DVDs take approximately 2.5x the actual playing time. A two hour movie will take approximately 4.5 hours to transfer to the iPod. Believe it or not, that’s actually faster than most computers.
