How long does it take Helping Kids Cope to respond to requests for help?
You will receive an automated response to your email account stating that the request was received. You then will have 30 days to wait. This gives Helping Kids Cope time to review items. If your application is complete online you might be contacted to send in more information and upon approval you should hear from Helping Kids Cope within 60 days total from the first time you applied. Please keep in mind our goal is to help as many people as possible but that also means that some cases will not get the award so if that is the case please feel free to apply again. Sometimes the award might not be granted for funding reasons and that will be indicated to you so you will know to apply again. Sometimes the applicant might not fall into the Helping Kids Cope guidelines and therefore can not be funded.
