Most systems are defaulted to an exit delay of 60 seconds. At that point the motions should be ready to send signals. In some cases, to conserve battery, the motion will go into a type of sleep mode. In this mode it will not send a signal every time motion passes. It will allow a 3–5 minute sleep mode.
