How long does it take for the jail to release someone after the bond has been posted?
The Maricopa County Jail can only offer a release time of 12-24 hours after the bond has been posted. We see most releases occuring between the hours of 3 AM to 6 AM the following morning. You can call the Hot Line for updates (602) 876-0322. How can I get a message to an inmate? You can only speak to an inmate if they call you (see inmate phones) or if you visit them during regularly scheduled visitation times (see Jail Visitation). The Sheriff’s Office will not provide messages to inmates and you cannot make a call to an inmate.
