The Basics Norton AntiVirus is a program created by Symantec Corporation, used mainly to identify computer viruses on a user’s computer. Computer viruses are malicious files that at best are used to simply slow down a computer, and at worst are used to steal sensitive personal information like addresses and credit card numbers. Norton AntiVirus scans a user’s computer in search of these files. If found, the files are quarantined and deleted from the user’s hard drive. What Is Updated?
