The Basics Norton AntiVirus is a program created by Symantec Corporation, used mainly to identify computer viruses on a user’s computer. Computer viruses are malicious files that at best are used to simply slow down a computer, and at worst are used to steal sensitive personal information like addresses and credit card numbers.
