Senior high school in Alberta consists of grades 10, 11 and 12. To qualify for an Alberta High School Diploma, the student must successfully complete a minimum of 100 credits from the required and optional courses offered at the high school level. Typically students will take three to four years to complete their high school education, depending on how well they do academically. Another factor to consider is your childs level of English which might also lengthen the time needed to obtain their Alberta High School Diploma.
