How long does it take for birth control pills (Necon) to be effective?
It depends when she started it in relation to her cycle. If she started it the first day of her period it is effective immediately. If she started on the Sunday after her period it is effective after 7 days. There is some debate if started later in the cycle than that some sources say 7 days some say until the end of the pack.
